On October 21, 2025, Joy~Nostalg Group Executive Officer Mr. Jacinto C. Ng, Jr. was named a 2025 Meaningful Business 100 Leader, recognized as one of 100 impact-driven leaders selected from over 900 nominations across 86 countries.
The recognition places Mr. Ng among the world's most compelling social entrepreneurs, corporate sustainability leaders, and impact investors, united by a shared commitment to delivering scalable, real-world solutions to complex social and environmental challenges. For the Joy~Nostalg Group, it is a global affirmation of a mission that has been lived out one home, one community, and one family at a time.
Mr. Ng is the first Chinese Filipino to receive this distinction, carrying with him the story of the Philippines to the world stage.
Now in its seventh year, the Meaningful Business 100 is one of the world's most rigorous recognition programs for leaders whose work creates measurable positive impact for people and the planet. The program is organized in partnership with EY, Hogan Lovells, Forster Communications, Green Frontier Capital, Kenya Climate Ventures, and The Portman Estate.
MB100 winners are selected not for the scale of their business alone, but for the depth of their commitment to solving problems that matter. The 2025 cohort was drawn from over 900 candidates across 86 countries, making the selection among the most competitive in the program's history.
Mr. Ng was recognized specifically for his leadership of the Joy~Nostalg Group and its mission to Home the Homeless, Power the Powerless, and Love the Loveleast, work that aligns directly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for No Poverty and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
The Joy~Nostalg Group has built over 60,000 homes for minimum-wage Filipino families, delivering affordable housing at the lowest market prices, with zero cash equity required from homeowners.
Since 2022, the Group has been recognized by the Philippine government for leading social housing development, contributing nearly 30% of the national housing program. Mr. Ng's vision is to deliver 10,000 homes a year, ensuring that the most vulnerable Filipino families are not left behind by the country's growth.
Beyond housing, Mr. Ng led the development of NING*NING, the world's first utility-grade, grid-connected rooftop solar facility built within a socialized housing community, partnering with homeowners to generate clean energy for the national grid while returning direct community benefits through the Community Assurance Support program.
Together, these initiatives represent a model of development that the Meaningful Business 100 recognized as scalable, replicable, and genuinely transformative.
In his acceptance message, Mr. Ng expressed gratitude that was as much for the mission as for the recognition itself:
"It is quite an honor for me, but a greater honor for our organization and our people, I am blessed with, the Joy~Nostalg Group with our Joy~Nostalg Foundation, who are continuously fulfilling our shared mission to Home the Homeless, Power the Powerless, and Love the Loveleast."
He acknowledged the families who made the mission meaningful:
"Together with this award are about 70,000 families who trusted us with their homes over the last seven-plus years. Our beneficiaries will always have our profound gratitude, together with the true public servants we partner with in government, especially the Pag-IBIG Fund."
And he grounded the recognition in faith and accountability:
"I take greater responsibility knowing this award comes to the first Chinese Filipino for the Philippines, for the world. It is by His grace for His greater glory."
As a 2025 MB100 Leader, Mr. Ng gains access to investment opportunities, capacity-building resources, and pro-bono services from EY, Hogan Lovells, Forster Communications, Green Frontier Capital, Kenya Climate Ventures, and The Portman Estate. He joins a global community of social entrepreneurs and impact leaders working across sectors, technologies, and geographies toward a shared ambition.
For the Joy~Nostalg Group, the Meaningful Business 100 recognition joins a growing body of international acknowledgment that includes the EY Philippine Entrepreneur of the Year 2024, the Asian Power Awards 2025, the Xavier-Kuangchi Award for Exemplary Alumni, and recognition at the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards. Each of these honors points to the same truth: that a business built on mission, guided by faith, and committed to the poorest Filipinos can achieve a standard of excellence that the world recognizes and respects.
The mission continues. The homes are still being built. The rooftops are still generating power. And the loveleast are still at the center of everything.
Mabuhay Pilipinas. It is by His grace for His greater glory.
